If you haven't tried our initial group of Trades and Services jobs when they were released back in early October, there's no excuse now as we add another 75 interview scenarios! Take a look below for some of the new jobs we've included:
Interview Tip
Treat everyone as if they were the one hiring you! While the receptionist may not be the one hiring you, they, along with everyone else you meet before your interview, may be asked by the hiring manager for feedback. Even with more and more interviews taking place virtually, remember that all your interactions during the hiring process will likely have an impact on the final hiring decision.

Interview Tip
Use the STAR method when answering questions. An acronym for situation, task, action, and result, incorporating this format into your interview answers will help you cover the entire answer while keeping it concise and detailed for your interviewer.

Do your research! Learning about the organization, its culture, its mission, and its people, will help you become more knowledgable and allow you to connect your personal experiences with the company.
This week we've added 63 interview scenarios related to Information Technology! With jobs ranging from general technical support to consulting, check out a few examples below:
Interview Tip
Emphasize your soft skills! Technical interviews are crucial in demonstrating your knowledge, but just as important is demonstrating how well you work on a team for example. Being able to interact and collaborate well with your colleagues and clients makes you more investable to potential employers compared to a genius who is unable to communicate effectively.
Our third content update includes over 70 interviews, this time in Marketing and Communications along with Administration! Check out some examples of what we've included and another interview tip at the very bottom.
Marketing and Communications - 28 New Jobs
As always with a new industry, we wanted to incorporate a few jobs that would be applicable to anyone wherever your career may be at. If you're just starting out in the industry or looking to have a little work on the side, try out our Brand Ambassador interview. A little further ahead in your career? We have jobs such as Marketing Associate and Social Media Assistant for you. Maybe you're passionate about non-profit work, and if so, our Fundraising Ambassador scenario would be a perfect fit.
Administration - 45 New Jobs
With 45 new jobs you can now interview for office-related roles such as Administrative Assistant or Receptionist, post office roles such as Mailroom Clerk, and Library Assistant if you're more of a bookworm!
Interview Tip
Show some personality! For students especially, interviews are difficult because of a lack of work and interviewing experience. What do you do? Talk about your personality strengths and soft skills, aligning them with the type of job you're applying for.
