Trades and Services Interviews

Are you an experienced Carpenter or Roofer looking to move on to another company? Maybe you're close to finishing your apprenticeship program and looking to get ready for your first interview as a Plumber or Automotive Technician

Or maybe you fit in neither category because you're a hard working student who has made some cash doing manicures or painting houses for your friends and you want to find a job as a Manicurist or House Painter

Well even if none of those scenarios fit you perfectly, we now have 75 new jobs in Trades and Services for you to try out!

These exciting new jobs will help you brush up your interviewing skills if you're a seasoned professional in the industry already, and if you've never had an interview before, these scenarios will be sure to put you ahead of the competition!

While we still have some ways to go in making sure we cover every nook and cranny in the industry, make sure you take a look at our roadmap and check back here frequently to be kept up to date on when we release even more jobs!

Interview Tip

If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it! We've all had difficult scenarios with different jobs, tasks, and co-workers for example. However, resist the urge to bad-mouth or blame others during an interview. Instead, reframe your answer as an accomplishment or challenge that you overcame.

Retail and Hospitality Interviews

We are happy to announce that our first group of jobs have been released! With over 80 jobs, our focus was to create interview scenarios that many of us have likely experienced in the past. Take a look at some of the jobs now playable and stay tuned for more to come!

Retail - 44 New Jobs

Whether you're thinking of working at your favourite clothing store, that grocery store you go to every week, or helping create some beautiful floral arrangements, we've got you covered with jobs such as:

  • Sales Associate
  • Assistant Baker
  • Florist

Hospitality - 39 New Jobs

Maybe you don't have a passion for fashion and that's okay! Our hospitality interviews include jobs such as Events Assistant if you're passionate about working on a collective team to create engaging virtual (and hopefully physical in the future) events, Cook and Barista if you're looking to express your creativity through food, along with Server and Concierge if you're more interested in having small, meaningful conversations through out your day.

Interview Tip

Ask questions! Interviews are just as much for you to get to know the company as it is for the company to get to know you. Not only does asking questions help you learn if you would fit well with the company, but it also allows you to show your interest.
